Trump Rally – Waco, TX – 3/25/23

Being a Trump supporter, I was thrilled when I heard that Trump was holding a rally in Waco.  I immediately went online and signed up for two tickets.  I knew they were expecting a huge crowd, so the wait would be long.  The event opened at 6am I think, but we didn’t arrive until 9am.

Walking in from the parking lot. Ed wearing his shirt of Trump wrestling an alligator while draining the swamp.

We visited the vendor area before getting in line.

I regret not buying a Trump/Waco T-shirt.

Punisher with Trump hairdo painted on slab of rock.

I almost bought the flag that says “Jesus is my King, Trump is my President”, but Ed said our flag pole needed repair.

We finally got in line about 9:30.

I visited the porta potty and this is a view of the line. Where is Ed?

They weren’t letting people in until Noon. By the time the line started moving (2 1/2 hours after we got in line), there were as many people behind us as in front of us.

Reporter on the right interviewing people in line.

People in line one row over.  Some smart people brought blankets, and sat on the ground to wait.

Ed and the man from Dallas who was in line in front of us.

Funny Trump socks on man in line.

Picture posted online of the crowd.

View of the entry with metal detectors, once the line started moving.  We didn’t reach this point until 1:30.

This was the VIP section in front of the stage.

The empty chairs in front of the man is where we were lucky enough to get seats.

This picture was online also. I put a white arrow pointing to us in the crowd.

Ted opened the event with a prayer and then playing his guitar for us.

Mike Lindell was there too. We have one of his pillows.

Mike on stage.

Sen. Matt Gaetz gave a great speech. So glad they had the big screens, because the crowd tended to making picture taking difficult.

Crowd in the bleachers to our right could look down on the walkway that led to the stage.

Sen. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia also gave a great speech.

Had to be satisfied with a TV screen shot of her.

Nice T-shirt on young man in front of us.

Video screen of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.

Matt Gaetz went thru the crowd talking to people and signing autographs. Future President?

Medical helicopter flew over, hope no one needed an airlift to the hospital.

2016 election info on the screen was sort of an intermission while we waited for Pres. Trump.

An there it is, finally, the Trump plane.

Another shot of the plane.

An artist painted a huge picture of Trump while we all waited for POTUS to appear.

Trump plane rolling up to the rally entrance.

The end of the plane is all I could see when if finally stopped.

I walked back along the railing but still couldn’t get a full picture of the plane.

People who got off the plane.

Same people different angle.

Ed and the plane’s tail.

Online picture of Pres. Trump coming off the plane.

The crowd in front of me finally sat down and I managed to get a picture.

I moved a little a got another shot, more from the back.

Back in my seat, I tried to zoom in and got a head shot between the crowd.

Ed with Pres. Trump on the screen behind.

It was a hot day, and the crowd was huge. They should have had vendors passing thru the crowd selling drinks! God bless the man seated behind us who gave us each a bottle of water!

I found this picture of the Trump plane flight path for the Waco Rally. The path made a “Q”. Thanks to whoever posted this online. I didn’t realize at the time, but that is indeed the path it flew.

Trump validates “Q”

Nacho Daddy Car & Bike Show 03/18/2023

This event was held at Warren Park in Hewitt, TX. I asked and they informed me that this was their 22nd year to hold this event. It isn’t always at this park, but it is always in Hewitt, TX.

Sign at Park Entrance

Entrance was closed at 11:30 so they could start the judging.

They had lots of booths set up in addition to the car show.

Sponsors had signs up around the area.

A concert was also going on at the park pavilion.

Here is a sample of the cars in the show.
