Salado is located along I-35 between Waco and Austin and is currently suffering through the road construction to make I-35 three lanes through town. Salado was originally a stage line relay stop.
The Village of Salado was founded by the early Scottish settlers because of its plentiful springs and rich farmland. It is currently a nice shopping area with cute shops. We enjoy visiting there. We always see something new it seems, like this new park.
We saw deer but didn’t capture any of them on camera. Just this buzzard and a butterfly as well as a few things from along Main Street.
